Zintathu, a South African university graduate, once said â€Å"I know life is hard, but with a higher education, all things are possible.† Life is hard for people like Zintathu, who have the ability and desire to take their knowledge to the next level but have to come up struggling to make a living as well as receiving money to pay for their education. Education is widely considered as a key factor in the economic and social expansion of a country, but there are different opinions about whether students should pay or not. Some view education as a fundamental right, which should therefore be provided free, while others believe the individual student should have to carry some of the costs of his or her education. Colleges are places where students learn formal knowledge that could bring a professional life and improve society; therefore the government should make sure every student has the chance to get into a college.
