Zintathu, a South African university graduate, once said ââ¬Å"I know life is hard, but with a higher education, all things are possible.â⬠Life is hard for people like Zintathu, who have the ability and desire to take their knowledge to the next level but have to come up struggling to make a living as well as receiving money to pay for their education. Education is widely considered as a key factor in the economic and social expansion of a country, but there are different opinions about whether students should pay or not. Some view education as a fundamental right, which should therefore be provided free, while others believe the individual student should have to carry some of the costs of his or her education.
